News Release

  Update - February 24, 2005

Today I was able to fly with my friend Evan Green from KCMA (Camarillo). We flew around the pattern a few times while I checked everything after the long truck ride from Kentucky to California. Then we flew over to the coast, avoiding Point Magu and the whole time in controlled airspace. Evan worked the radio getting clearances from the various towers. We flew down the coast out over the water for a ways before turning back for KCMA so we would make it back before sunset.

We may get in another evening flight tomorrow, but I will be getting ready to start the flight from KCMA on Saturday morning, bright and early. Saturday should be smack dab in the middle in between storms and be as good as we are going to get for a while. If it goes as forecast at this time it will be perfect!

Have a good one!
Steve Thomas
